Australian artist Alan Jones

Alan Jones (b. 1977) graduated from the National Art School (BFA) in 2000. His works have been exhibited extensively in Australia as well as internationally having held solo exhibitions throughout the UK and Asia. Jones’ broad approach to media has seen public and private collections acquire his work world wide including Australia’s National Portrait Gallery and Artbank. In 2004 Alan Jones was the recipient of the prestigious Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship. Other major painting awards received include the 2008 Paddington Art Prize, 2014 Kilgour Prize and 2015 Mosman Art Prize.
