‘That’s the Way It Is #14’ wins the 49th Fisher’s Ghost Art Award
A text painting that reads THAT’S THE WAY IT IS by Alan Jones has won the $20,000 Fisher’s Ghost Art Award.
The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award is one of Australia’s longest running annual art awards. It runs in conjunction with the Campbelltown City Council’s Festival of Fisher’s Ghost.
The Fisher’s Ghost Art Award is held each year at the Campbelltown Arts Centre. The winning artwork is acquired and becomes part of the Campbelltown Arts Centre’s permanent collection.
2011 guest judge was artist Glen Barkley.
