‘Painting 63’ wins 2008 Paddington Art Prize
Alan Jones wins the 2008 Paddington Art Prize. ‘Painting 63′ shows a heavily glazed painting of the Hawkesbury River that includes Jones’ self-portrait seen in the form of two small black and white floating heads.
Guest judges for the 2008 Paddington Art Prize include: Nick Waterlow (Director, Ivan Dougherty Gallery, The University Of NSW), Geoff Cassidy (Director, Artbank) and Kerrie Lester (Artist).
